The Ennis Phoenix Twinning Board is now seeking second level students to serve as Youth Ambassadors for 2016 on its Youth Ambassador Exchange Programme. The ideal Ennis Youth Ambassador is a leader excited by the opportunity to positively represent Ennis and Co. Clare by travelling to Phoenix, Arizona.
During their time here the Youth Ambassadors will learn to surf in Lahinch and to kayak in Killaloe. The girls will meet the Mayor of Ennis; they will help out in the Clarecastle Day Care Centre and indulge in afternoon tea in Dromoland Castle. They will also enjoy sporting and music activities and simply hanging out with their Irish peers.
