€2000.00 for St. Anne’s School

The Ennis Phoenix Twinning Board presented a cheque for €2000.00 to St Anne’s School, Corrovorin, Ennis, this week. The money was raised by the Twinning Board through it’s recent Race Night at Limerick Greyhound Stadium.

Speaking at the presentation at St Anne’s School, Ruth O’Shea, the event organiser and a member of the Twinning Board, complimented the staff of St Anne’s School for their dedication to their work and for the exceptional care they provided for all their students.  She went on to pay tribute to those who supported the fundraiser particularly the main sponsors Ennis Lifts, Treacys West County and Acton BV and all who nominated a greyhound and purchased programme or on-screen advertising on the night.
Caroline Lodge Principal, St Anne’s School thanked Ennis Phoenix Twinning Board, on behalf of the staff and pupils, for their generous contribution.  ”The €2000.00 will be used to facilitate the development of our new sensory playground equipment for our Pre-Schooler’s and Junior ASD Classes” she said.
